Thank you everyone for your support in Colon Cancer Awareness!
Dear Friends and Family,
I wanted to touch base and thank everyone who supported me this year on the Scope It Out 5k run/walk for Colon Cancer Awareness on Saturday, March 24th, 2007 in Washington DC. The race was a great success and raised well over $80,000. I am even more proud to announce that our team, Team Ghostriders, was both the top fund raising team in total dollar contributions and also the top team in total number of contributors. We raised $3000+ between 6 of us!
After losing Mikey to colon cancer in September of 2005 at 26 years old, I can’t even put to words how much I am grateful for all of your support and donations. I’m sure Mike was laughing from heaven as we struggled to cross the finish line so early in the morning! Thank you all for your amazing contributions and support.
On the website now you can see the results from the race:

We were the 10th fastest team (they counted the top 5 finishers per team), but I promise we will do better next year. Nobody told us that hangovers weren’t good for race day! Brett was our superstar male at 22:44, and Chris and Megan made sure that we were represented in the back of the pack as well. Our team was 8 members strong, but we’re happy to recruit more as we plan to do the event next year and for many years to come.
The Post Race Crew (from left to right): Megan, Chris, Teall, Lincoln (in the back), Meaghan, Adam, Jamie, and Brett.

Animal Planet Expo Tour
Greetings everyone.
Happy belated mother’s day to all those who are mothers and to the hope that you had an enjoyable yet relaxing day.
The purpose of this email is to give you all the schedule for the Animal Planet Expo Tour. What is the Animal Planet Expo tour you say? Well I am here to tell you it is a huge extravaganza! If I can quote J. Steven Pulick, “it’s all about the kids.” There will be professional face painters, an mc, free PepsiCo samples, a bounce house for the kids or really immature adults, an inflatable alligator that kids race through, a theater with a film & an animal exhibit, a bug house, games & all sorts of giveaways. You can also bring your dog or cat and get a free pet tag! Sounds pretty terrific I know. It will be colossal, 400 x 400 sqaure foot area, fun & educational because the Animal Planet channel is brought to us by the Discovery Channel & those people are almost asbig in education as the Learning Channel.
Now, May, June & July are set. The weekend of August 5th & 6th we are scheduled to be in Boston but since old beantown was a late addition, the exact location has not been finalized. We are scheduled for Hartford, CT the following weekend but we don’t have a venue as of yet. For all those familar with event marketing, this means that these markets still have time to fall through & be replaced with another city.
You can call me at 860 810 6890 or send me an email if you have any questions. Once the Boston, Hartford & Baltimore locations get finalized, or changed, I will forward the information.
This schedule also ensures that I will miss the Fourth again, 3rd time since 2002, and most likely the Riverfest, although there is a slight possibility that I may be able to show up on the Monday or Tuesday afterwards to hang out if there are any hardcore people still hanging around. Sorry, but you all should be getting used to this by now.
To Miss Jennifer, I will miss your last show but I will day this, you can’t do a a few shows while you’re 8 or 9 months pregnant? Thanks.
To my friends at ignition, inc., who have Coca-Cola as a client, I am in charge of the PepsiCo tent but will not be partaking in any of their samples because my attorney reminded me that I swore a blood oath to Coca-Cola over 4 years ago, has it been that long?, and the statute of limitations on that is still alive.
Hope all is well with everyone and maybe I’ll get to see some of you when we hit or come near your town! Take care!

What I’ve been up to
Good afternoon everybody & how are you today!
I know it’s been awhile since I last contacted you with anything worth while. This email is no exception. I just recently finished up some work for Bacardi and I wanted to share with you what I have been doing for these people. The 1st photo shows the RV I was driving around. The next 2 photos are of me & some “Bacardi Girls.” These ladies take their jobs very seriously and are consumate professionals, despite what the outfits may say. I have a few more but I don’t want to overload the memory on anyone’s mailbox. I leave Sunday on the animal Planet Expo tour and I will forward a schedule whenever I get it. Take care everyone!
Respectfully,
Chris Bence
P.S. As usual I encourage any feedback, jokes or you just want to make fun of me please do.. If it’s really funny feel free to let everyone else in on the joke.
